Job Description
Are you organised, people-focused, and ready to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes?
Join our busy Repairs Team as a Repairs Administrator and help make sure our residents get the responsive, high-quality service they deserve. Whether it’s logging repair requests, managing contractor updates, or supporting the wider team — you’ll be a key part of delivering a smooth and stress-free experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, cares about great service, and enjoys being at the centre of a fast-paced team.
What’s in it for you….
In addition to the salary, we offer a number of benefits, including:
- High street discount schemes
- Health cash plans
- 26 days’ annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
- Flexible bank holidays – take them when it suits you
- Car leasing scheme
- Hybrid working – offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role. You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role. This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity. We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.
What you’ll be doing……
Log and process repair requests from residents, contractors, and colleagues
Provide top-notch admin support to the repairs and handyperson services
Update records using systems like CRM and Northgate
Help keep our data clean and our contractors informed
Follow up on outstanding repairs and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
Support the team by helping manage recharges, invoices, payments, and variations
Write clear, friendly responses to resident enquiries and complaints
Help the team run smoothly — even covering reception or taking minutes when needed
What we’re looking for:
We’d love to hear from you if you’re:
A natural organiser who can juggle tasks and meet deadlines
Friendly and customer-focused, with great written and verbal communication skills
A team player who’s also happy working independently
Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems (like CRM or Northgate)
Calm under pressure and able to solve problems as they come
Keen to contribute to a service that really makes a difference in people’s lives
If you’ve worked in a housing, maintenance, or repairs setting before — great! But if not, don’t worry — we’ll give you the support and training you need.
At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability. Our work is about people – not just properties – and we’re always looking for ways to do better. If that sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you.
